Well its back to reality... just returned from a great week with the family! Its amazing how fast vacations go by. You do all the preparing, all the packing and the driving. First few days seem to go as usual out to the beach for a few hours, in for lunch then back out again. But then by Wednesday it just flies by... I was fortunate enough this year to get to spend a week with my side of the family which I have been looking forward to for a looooong time!
The week was very eventful I must say. My cousin, son and brother in law ran out of gas 15 miles out in the Atlantic Ocean and had to call the coast guard for assistance...
While swimming in the ocean I saw a shark swim across a wave nearby, it was only a 3 footer.
My son got slammed to the ocean floor by a wave a scratched his face up pretty good.
My wife had trouble transferring money from savings to our checking so we could purchase groceries... had to use my art account.
But you know what we all made it home safely, we had lots of laughs and we made memories together that will last a lifetime and for that I am so very grateful!
